Friday, September 14, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM the KidBuilderZ trailer will be at the Lost Creek Park on the corner of Lost Creek Blvd. and Quaker Ridge. Come join us after school for a sneak peek at what KidBuilderZ is all about. We will be building paper rockets which soar over 100 feet in the air.

A Back-to-School Celebration

We started this business thinking we’d do mostly birthday parties and afterschool programs, but we’re continually amazed at the different events in which we get to take part.

Recently, the management of a nearby apartment complex included KidBuilderZ in a back-to-school celebration they were hosting for their residents. We obviously get a huge kick out of our projects, but even we were surprised at the energy level of this event.

Over the course of two hours, a swarm of kids and their parents built and launched 100 water rockets, taking special care in the construction then cheering wildly as their creations headed skyward. We’re glad we showed up with enough rocket kits to accommodate everyone.

The joy on the faces of the children and the genuine appreciation from the parents was another reminder that there isn’t a better job under the sun than KidBuilderZ.

Our Afterschool Programs

Our Afterschool Programs are taking Central Texas schools by storm as kids are lining up for the chance to spend an afternoon a week having fun while they learn some basic scientific concepts. Kids and parents alike love it because they stay in their school, walk to a familiar classroom and are full of ideas when they’re done.

Classes in the Eanes Independent School District start next week, so sign up now. If you’re in the Leander and Lake Travis districts, your programs will be kicking off two weeks after that.
